Bruce Lipton has been doing ground breaking research into genes and developed a new way of looking at how our genes don't determine our outcome, but actually it's our perceptions of the environment around us that determine our genes. This means that instead of just looking at your genes as a determined outcome from the coming together of your mother and father it actually suggests that it was the environment that your mother and father observed and what your cells observed that determined the outcome of your genes.
Bruce goes on to teach you about how outside situations like stress and other emotions effect cell behaviour, and when we go into fight or flight mode it actually takes blood away from our brain and viscera and pushes out to the extremities. This is why you can't think when you’re stressed!
Bruce touches on so much in this lecture and really is amazing in his research. He gives an absolutely fantastic look at biology the way it should have been discovered.
